VETERANS AWARENESS - THE SILENT STRUGGLES OF AMERICAN HEROES (Passion Project)

Objective: Create visually impactful infographic that creates awareness of the struggles our military members and veterans face.
Some projects begin with a client brief. This one began with lived experience.
As a U.S. Navy Veteran, this project holds a special place in my heart. It was created to bring visibility to the silent struggles many military members and veterans endure-struggles that are too often overlooked or misunderstood. Through thoughtful Research, Data Collection, and Intentional Design, I sought to transform difficult statistics into meaningful visuals that Informed, Inspired Empathy, and Encourage Action.
Using data from trusted sources, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Stop Soldier Suicide, and the Military website, this infographic was designed to communicate difficult statistics in a way that informed without overwhelming. Muted tones and thoughtful visual hierarchy guided readers through the information while emphasizing key insights. The final design was then placed in a real-world mockup to illustrate its potential impact beyond the screen.
